Reflecting on my M3 purchase

So after owning the car for closed to 1 year. I love the car more than ever, it just drives so smooth, make a very fun drive (even my lady love it), i can go fast or slow and enjoy the car.

I read a lot of post here that people bough the M3 w/70K miles for $26/27K. I feel like that's a lot of money for that many miles.
I feel like I got a good deal when i purchase my M3. 13K miles with 5/60K miles warranty for $39K.

Anyway, how was your M3 purchase and was it worth it?

I think prices might be slightly inflated for higher mileage examples. But if they are welll taken care of and have nice documentation of services, I don't see why it wouldn't fetch the extra penny.

I'm not sure if I got a great deal on mine or not, but at the time in the market it seemed on point.

2011.75 E90 M3 ZCP 6MT 54k on the odo and I paid right around 30-31.

Love the car to death 2.5 years later.

Cheers!

Love it more everyday. I daily mine and wouldn't have it any other way. Definitely one I will keep for many many years, maybe forever, since I could care less about depreciation and it was a relatively cheap up front cost. Eventually, I'll just get a new engine (assuming it needs one @~200K) and keep enjoying the platform.

Yeah, why not. An engine seem expensive but typically still less then changing car.

Enjoyed my for 5.5 years and no plans to stop here.

Garage List
2008 E90 M3  [0.00]
2014 M5 CP  [0.00]
Coming up on 7 years.

Purchased for 40k in July 2012

21k miles to 57k miles

The only thing I'd upgrade to is a 991 GT3, but paid off nicely modded M3 is a better choice

I’m at the total opposite side of the spectrum.

Just got mine with 172k miles. Runs and drives great.. Has a small exhaust leak at the flange due to rust.. But other than that. It seems to have held up pretty well.
