Hawk HP plus vs RS19

Can anyone comment on how the HP plus compares to the RS19 for track driving and street-ability? These pads would be used on a front ST40 and stock rear caliper setup.

Thanks

Haven't personally run the Hawks but I tracked the RS19s on my old stock setup for awhile. I believe them to be a whole lot more pad than the HP plus, and they will definitely last way longer. I changed my pads in and out for track events, so i only "streeted" the Pagids for a week or so before and after each event. When bedded in properly they could be reasonably quiet (for awhile), but otherwise squealed like a garbage truck and dusted like Pigpen. I would prefer OEM for DD. Again, i can't comment on the street ability of the Hawks...

My .02, hope it helps.

Thanks for the input. Yes i have used the Pagids too and they are phenomenal. I was just wondering how the Hawks were. The Hawk is more of street/light track pad while the pagid is endurance race pad.

HP plus are not track pads. You are downgrading compared to OEM pads at the track.

^ Seconded. the HP Plus are great up until they fail and they fail absolutely miserably - I've had them crumble and fall apart, leaving nothing but a backing plate, heavily scored rotors and brown underwear. Hawk said, "Expected behavior when you overheat them"

The HP Plus is not a good track pad. I don't recommend it.
