It's interesting how the M3 is still named best drivers car after 5 years.

Says even more about the absolute lack of innovation or advancement that has occurred from BMW, Mercedes, Audi or anyone else since the E9X M3's debut. |

It's just too much power for the car to handle. 444 lbs of torque through an open diff is a recipe for insanity. The C63 doesn't even come with an LSD standard! The P31 Development package which bumps up HP to 481 HP is what gives you that.
P.S. You have a C63 so you already know this. |

I love how a car that is relatively near the end of its life cycle is still so competitive. Got to love the AMG too though. I might want to own one someday... maybe.
What disappoints me the most is the RS5. It is such a beautiful car that I really wanted Audi to get it right. That would be a car I would have liked to own but it seems to be universally disliked (well, the least favourite) in its class. Too bad.

I'm actually half thinking of modifying the M3 to make it a little more hard core (when it's paid off ) and keeping it as a dedicated weekend toy/track car. I would then pick up a C63 AMG coupe as my new DD. Well, just a thought anyway... by then I will have changed my mind ten times over

Only 3 stars for the RS5 is rough.
The M3 staying still being on top shows how much better BMW's chassis engineers are than the competition.
