I am debating placing my unicorn in a climate controlled storage for 20 years, and opening her as a future birthday present for my kids one day!!!! Or selling in the near future.

2006 E46 M3 Coupe
Interlagos Blue / Dove Grey Leather
Competition Pack
36k Miles
SMG (Perfect Candidate for 6MT swap)
Slick top
Nav Delete
Manual Seats

Immaculate Condition. All records since new. CA vehicle. 2 Owners.
No low ballers, no time wasters, no tire kickers...
Potential buyers must show proof of funds before any test drive.

Just seeing what the forum audience has to say, in no rush to sell...
This is a feeler ad, not a contract to sell. Getting used to the idea of maybe selling at the right price...

Thank you very much!!!!

Nice looking car, It would be just the way I want it but in 6 speed Mt. With that being said no one will pay you that much for this vehicle given they can get a lower mileage newer and better e92 m3 for the same or less money.....just some food for thought.

Especially not with SMG.

A similar car in 6mt sold on bringatrailer for $51,000:
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2003-bmw-m3-coupe-41/

That’s probably your best place to list it.

What other options are on the car if any? PDC ? Lights ? HK?

Sadly SMG does drop the value but don't give up - I hope u get top dollar.

Grey interior and SMG are going to hurt it for sure, but my guess is that this would pull over $40,000 on BaT.

That said, e46 M3 values have been rising fast, recently— if you’ve held it this long, I might wait a little longer.

Thanks man. I can't say I disagree with you. Funny enough, the LSB that sold for 51k was my good friends car in Florida, small world. Yeah he brought the mark up on the e46 for sure. I probably have to to do the 6MT swap and cinnamon interior swap eventually on this unicorn. Thanks for your support.....

That LSB was a surprise to be honest but that color over black with 6MT in that condition is a unicorn. Two recent E46M individual colors Japan Red and Daytona Violet both with SMG and Non-ZCP recently sold on BAT for $25k. Your car on BAT would be an interesting test. Not many 36k miles IB cars left regardless of tranny.

@IB M
That LSB simply proved, what everybody instinctively knows...Color+low miles =what people value and pay for. I bet if that LSB had been an SMG, we would have seen 40k+ bidding with a 6MT swap in order of new buyer.... LSB is iconic to the e46, and probably one of the top 3 colors of that car ever.... Techno more of a e36 color, not so sharp on an e46 IMO, and Japan red, eh, ok, Imola rocks the house on the e46 platform.... And now we arrive at the unknown question? What is a low mileage IB Slicktop worth???? I welcome the feedback, its a learning curve for me... Honestly this a car to sock away for the future, or sell for right price... We shall see what presents itself.... I have a feeling (the shops with A+ 6MT swaps, will only increase the value of rare spec SMG cars as time marches fwd, simply because a swap doesn't interfere with any structural integrity of the car, it's a clean job, and so few lower mileage ones out there....... Time will tell............

I wouldn't swap this car. Hold out for someone who is willing to pay what you want for an all original car. Several discussions already that a non swapped car will be worth more than a swapped car. Honestly, if I were to buy a car I'd rather have a 100% original car than a swapped one and I think this is the direction we are headed.

Agreed.
Original over time worth more. regardless of the fact that "manual" is more desirable, in my opinion that goes to manual original.

Thanks for your comments!!!!!!!!!

Everybody should watch the IB 6MT 18K ZCP Slitktop on Bringatrailor this am.........
We are all going go watch quite possibly a record breaking e46 m3 sale today.......
And to everybody's point,I agree my ask is a little high, but overall I honestly believe she's worth around 45k to the right buyer........

Special order white interior will hurt it IMO.....to a collector the oddness may be more desirable!

@UPSROD
The interior is actually not white: It's BMW individual special order Platinum!!!
The actual color looks Ivory in person, with warm hues of very very light beige, but overall a very complimentary color for this spec...Obviously cinnamon would have been better!!!!

That IB sold for $50k today. I was a bit surprised, thought it would have gone higher given rarity and condition but perhaps platinum interior was neutral to price or maybe a small negative.

Agree that your car is more special with SMG long term.
