Headlight Restoration Luck?
Curious if anyone has had any luck with the 3M headlight restoration kit - I've watched a video and it seemed to perform rather well. At first glance my headlights look to be in great shape, no oxidation at all but once they're on and in a dark setting a ghost halo appears and you can really see the sandblasting effect. Would like to take care of this. Any input or experience is appreciated. Link and photos for reference.

Check out project farm on YouTube. He did a comparison of the different kits available and found that the Sylvania kit produced the best results. I used one on my 2009 TSX and it worked really well.

The 3M kit you shared a link to is fine to help level out the lens and remove the road rash. The key will be to re-clear the lenses with a 2k clear so the finish lasts. I’ve used Sp*****x 2K clear with great results on my previous truck and they looked brand new.

Done it on a few cars and the results are spectacular, and long lasting. I've a detailed thread on E90Post from a few years ago about this process.

90% of the stone chips will be on the clearcoat of the headlamps. Once you polish this clearcoat off, the lens will be susceptible to hazing and yellowing. So it's important to re-clear the lenses. After that apply PPF for long term protection.
