Tried DCT for the first

Hello , i wanted to try DCT as all M's i was drove was smg or manual , did today well shifts are really fast , but the manual is still the best choice i like kick in the back that manual or smg does , with dct is just almost like CVT .... new m3 with turbos and manual will be beast... and for ending

Really? because from the cars in your signature it looks like you might be the world's foremost authority in cars that only come with an automatic transmission.

Actually if you ever get safe conditions (e.g., a track) to try it turn off the stability and traction control and put the tranny in it's fastest (S6?) mode. It will give you plenty of kick in the back as the tires chirp through 1-2 and 2-3 shifts with some kick on 3-4 as well.
Just be careful or you'll find yourself going sideways quickly!

What's nice about a thread like this is that there's one thing we know absolutely for sure:

It will NOT turn into a senseless flamefest with pot-shots and overreacting and drama.

I really like that.

I also like scalloped potatoes.

i tried only s5 , the cars have small flappy pedals behind wheel that is just impossible to use when is wheel turned , in the f1 car situation is diffrent as we have smaller turning radius...

DCT/6MT debate aside
that video should be shown to everyone who thinks driving on an oval is "racing"

I figure if a DCT system is good enough for Formula 1 drivers, it surely is good enough for me.

Obv this whole thread is just opinions, but I find DCT to be way more fun than manual.

So, what does everyone think? Is the DCT or MT better? This has never been discussed and I am curious.

Also, which jeans are best to drive the M3 in?

Which personalized plate should I get?

Says you. Everyone is entitled to their opinion regarding potatoes. Funny how some people state their opinions as fact...

The manual on the M3 has super long throws and isn't very smooth. If it was s2000 like, I'd perhaps have gone with it. I have never driven a non manual car.. and I LOVE DCT. For a high strung car like the M3 it completes as well as makes it a good bit faster.

yes its not ideal like example you don't feel that much that you throwed in in right gear gates are to loose , but its better than dct...
