Believe me, he didn't. The thread you're referring to was about GPower and is not related to this one. Let's now get back to topic, please!

Best regards,

I suppose it's easy to get confused between the scrappy snipes everyone is having at each other... Second verse same as first. Fun to read and no one emerges victorious

In my case, my boost fluxuated far more than Drew's, that's why I adopted the fitted curve approach. Drew's boost does not fluxuate as much as mine.

Regardless of which standard to chose (absolute max or fitted curve), the boost at maxHP must be taken into account. If your maxHP is 516 and occurs during the boost spike, then you must also factor in the boost spike to your maxBoost specifications. If you don't want to use the maxBoost, then you can't use the maxHP that occurs during the boost spike. My fitted curve DID take the spike into account, and it was still called bogus. Not a single person came to my defense -- most notably none of the same people now coming to Drew's defense. Regardless, there should only be one standard. Either use my fitted curve method -- in which case Drew would still have about 8.25 PSI boost, or use the absoulte max that Jim Pack prefers. It can't be apples for one and oranges for the other.
PG, i never said anything about maxBoost.

My argument is, who cares about the dyno disrepancy between users since its used as a baseline for improvements over your base car or whatever you started from. Its results like 1/4 mile, 60-130mph, etc that matters. If your M3 makes (ex. only) 600whp and the best you can muster is a 8s 60-130mph, either you suck as a driver or your car really isnt making 600whp.

Like I said before, when it comes to performance, you need to use a standard measuring technique, that everyone has access to, to show the capability of the car and the driver. The Dyno is just a reference point. Its doesnt show how good the suspension is, or how well the tires grab traction, shifting speed, launch capability, etc.

My 2 cents.

Is this the same case for Gpower??

I've had no DCT overheating issues and I've done plenty of hard driving so far. If he's talking about during launches, I've had DCT issues while the car was stock and with bolt ons, as have others who have done 1/4 mile launches.

Car is still running great and Gintani customer service has been outstanding.

So I went ahead and dumped the cats and installed the Gintani Xpipe w/ 4 resonators, but I also went back to the stock muffler. I'm too old to have a loud car, lol. I do miss the sound of the Borla at WOT and I think I lost some ponies now with the stock muffler.

Either way I made more with the Gintani Catless xpipe/Stock Muffler combo! I think with the Borla back on or another HFE, I'll pick up a bit more.

Here's the results in all three CF's, I gained around 15 peak WHP, but as much as 22 whp gains at spots throughout the P-Band!

Very nice Drew, I knew you'd make some nice gains dumping the cats! Looks like you even gained some low end torque!
