Did some research. M button didn't have a solution in your example because of the quick release?

In this application with elimination of the steering wheel buttons, visible any ways, there is no way to turn off/on the m button unless you know the CAN lines and some how have that button send the code. This is my understanding. So for this application the loop to always be on was the easiest.

But no not specifically bc of the QR because you could run all the wires through it. Just was not a priority for this build.

Cool. Just got a targa wheel and a works bell qr. my shop said he can add a button and see what he can do. If not we will loop it. Can't wait. Wheel feels good. Getting it wrapped in alcantara and trying to do the GTS style center guide (through cutouts). I'm a ricer. Lol

You could always work on flexibility and it would be much easier to get out. If you could put your ankles behind your head, I'd guarantee that you'd be the most popular guy in the paddock...just a thought for motivation.

Seriously, I haven't even put door bars in my e46 yet and I fail to get out of the car with any kind of dignity if I don't remove the steering wheel.

When I had my ebrake, it was much easier to get out. It was kind of like a handicap toilet with the rails on the side. I've removed the ebrake so now its damned near impossible to get out with the steering wheel installed.

Had a question that I posted in track chit chat but since you have an aftermarket wheel too. Did you notice that the wheel got stiffer, and the wheel not wanting to center itself as easily?

I have not. Sounds like a power steering issue

UPDATE

Works Bell System lasted about a year and then failed. The switches just failed flat out. And Turnersgroup is a waste of time.

I have moved on to the KMP set up and its plug n play and great customer support.
And M Button!!

I have a different setup. Its the 22pin krontec, coupled with M5 paddles and my original M button. It has worked quite well. Vsetrack is who built the setup for me.
