KMP Paddle shifter kit installed and ready!

Hi,
After a failed start with a Works Bell QR/Paddle shifter from and a shit-show outfit in Australia called The Tuners Group...(similar to Warp 10's experiences here: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showth...highlight=kmp- and a bunch of Renlisters over on Porsche forum), I am now ready to roll.

Warp 10 was a great help in discussing options and helping with Q's. Thank you!

KMP out of The Netherlands were fantastic to deal with.
https://www.kmpdrivetrain.com/produc...g-wheel-4-ftu/ Answered all questions, agreed to adapt slightly for my Momo wheel, turned the order around in the 3 weeks quoted and it shipped taking just 3 days to west coast.

Completely plug n' play. Great instructions and quality. Paddles feel really solid and click/engage/return really well.

Highly recommend this for anyone with full cage DCT car and no use for airbags.

First track outing in a few weeks!
Cheers, Mark

Very cool. I want that setup bad but my car still sees street use.

Glad we found the best solution for DCT track guys. M button can remain!

So the KMP requires that corded cable? hmmm your pic already shows it hanging lower than the KMP sales picture. I'm curious if that will be a nuisance.

So the Krontec inside-the-wheel connector thing doesn't work with an M button? Or it does but it dies?

Contact KMP they can build a cordless set up using the 22 Pin Krontec. Lead time is long. But they said they can do it.

Is this possible for a car that still used on the street? or not legal for public roads?

I do undertand you lose the airbag.

Depends on your state.

Have you found the cord to be a negative in anyway? If you could do it over would you opt to wait for a cordless setup?

Thanks!

No. Cord is never in the way and plenty long to hang or put on dash.

Cool - aesthetically I don't like the cord but I bet it makes things more reliable - which is most important
