Picked up a Gen 2 Ford F-150 Raptor

Picked up this 2018 F-150 raptor last week and finally got a chance to take some photos this weekend. The truck is very photogenic with its wide stance, big wheel arches, and beefy tires. This is my third F-150 so I’m used to big vehicles, but this still feels pretty wide, almost like a mini bus. It handles quite well with plenty of power for the road. The seating position and driving demeanor makes you feel like you own the road. I’ve also been averaging about 16.5 mpg with a mixture of normal and fun driving. The interior is well appointed with plenty of leather and carbon fiber and enough room for five large adults. The Sync 3 system comes with Apples car play and a decked out sound system from B&O. It doesn’t have the massage seats or multicolor ambient light feature as in my last Limited model, but everything else is there. I’m always conscious of ground clearance and pot holes when driving the m3. It’s something I don’t think about at all when I’m in this.

Beastly. Funny it gets the same mileage as our cars.

very nice. i'm trying to convince mrs beef this should be her next vehicle. she just doesn't want a truck for some reason. i figure we could tow with it, haul the dogs and plenty of gear in the bed. her commute is pretty short, too, so the mileage isn't going to be a big deal.

They must've seen what the hilux took on that old episode of top gear, and thought a Ford could surely do better.

Congratulations! Love the Gen 2 Raptor especially now that the market has cooled on them. Makes for a perfect compliment to the M!

Definitely an amazing pickup. The Raptor been my favorite truck since I saw the Gen 1 so long ago and I hope I can get the 2 next year. Perfect garage combo with the M imo.

You are correct about the prices are finally started to come down on these, new and used. For a while, most dealerships were selling them above MSRP new ones, and the used ones were astronomically high too.

I think a 2017 or 2018 with less than 20k miles are in good spots right now in term of value vs. depreciation.

Try to have her sit in one, or ride in one, any of the F-150 super crew cab (4 doors). All of my females friends and family members love how spacious the vehicle is inside and how smooth it rides.
