Here is a dyno sent to us from a customer in Korea that just installed our 6.5 psi kit. Conversion is about 560 HP and 360 ft/lb tq. We are installing 2 more kits this week local and we hope to be able to start shipping several of the pre-orders next week as we are finishing up the install manual

Roman, would you consider possibly taking a flight to install the DCT software or is that something that absolutely has to be done in Arizona. I would highly consider the 600 or 650HP kit and Im quite sure paying for your time plus the plane ticket would be cheaper than shipping the car from the eastcoast.

They all seem around the same...G-power sk2 says around 580hp @6lbs boost, also seen it say 600hp for them. ESS has a stage2 575hp(91 oct) 600hp (needs 93) at 6lbs boost ..stage above that is no warranty. Gintani kit is there too, and have some cars running around. myslef, sticky, nightrider. but i am only running my kit at 5.5lbs boost and dyno'd at 465whp on their dyno which reads low and Niterider is running at 6.5lbs of boost and dyno'd at 481whp (for refference tightie gpower at 7lbs with meth dyno'd almost the same). And at 7.5lbs I made 512whp!! So think my kit is right around 600 and niteriders is a bit more. But so far Gintani/ niteriders car has been running the longest of any car with no probs. Gpower had probs but has been fixed. ESS has a few cars (biglare) heard from him is running well too, only know 2 guys with them. I know one thing is that Gintani has unbelievable customer service, If i ever need anything they are there first thing. They really make it a priority to make you feel at home and to know your taken care of. Its a great feeling to know you are taken care of.

The Gintani boys didn't to well at Famoso. They need some DR's and come better prepared.

Looks like all SC M3's will have traction problems, especially on street tires.

We currently have 6 customers cars on the road and 2 test cars. Our sponsored race car is being rebuilt as it had a little brake issue. This month we have 4 more cars scheduled to come in and several kits going out to dealers for their customers. We have had a few small delays in production but we are finally getting cought up in the next two weeks. By the end of December we should have a decent number of customers on the road who can provide feedback, reviews etc.. We are not really drag strip guys so we will leave it to our customers to test the limits of our kit there

As far as power we have had no issues making power with this kit. If anything we have had to dial it back a bit. We can make 600 whp easy as we have already done it on our test cars. We are conservative when we rate power on production kits for the most part due to the different quality fuels and conditions our kits are used in. For example the dyno I posted from the customer in Korea making 560 whp, that kit is only rated at 520 whp. In the past 13 years we have been more concerned with how the car drives and its reliability then we are with big dyno numbers. Making the most power on any platform means little to us we just like our products to be competitive. All of our stage 2 cars have made well over 500 whp so far and we feel that those numbers are pretty decent.

For reference on what our kit is capable of on a 100% stock car here is our stage 2 kit making close to 600 whp on our early beta software. With our current software we have been able to improve on our TQ gains.

roman took the words out of my thoughts , for what they rate the horsepower on the stage 2 regardless of the fuel, they put down 500+whp which i found vey impressive compared to what other companies are claiming and putting down ... im not knocking competitive SC'rs kits but i have yet to see a 600bhp/500+whp dyno claim but ess's and this is where the fine tuning comes into play and is exposed

Well just to add, when Nightrider's m3 was putting out 450whp on Gintani's dyno dynamics...he also went to a dynojet and put out 505whp and he was at 5lbs of boost. He now dynos at 480whp on Gintanis at 6.5lbs of boost...so im estimating he should dyno around 540-550whp on a dynojet! Just throwing it out there, cause i saw what you wrote.

+1 I've seen your car make over 512whp on the DynoDynamics as well.

Here is a picture of the M3's DCT transmission. I have included a picture of the transmissions control unit so you can see why we have to flash the DCT software local or in person. In the SMG equipped cars the transmissions ECU is located in a spot that can be removed with the engine ecu and sent to us. On the new DCT transmission the control unit is located on the actual transmission and can only be accessed thru the OBD port with a special interface.

The good news is our Stage 2 engine software with corrections for power delivery during DCT shifting has done really well with our 600 HP stage 2 kit so we will have this as an option for customers who want to order VT2-600 for their DCT equipped cars. Over 600 HP we still recommend having the dedicated stage 2 DCT software as the car performs much better with it.
