Eisenmann Race Exhaust paired with high flow cat x pipe, does it drone?
Anyone have Eisenmann Race exhaust combo with high flow cat x pipe? Is there drone and if so is it tolerable for daily driving?
I have the BimmerWorld x pipe with a set of 200 cell Magnaflow cats welded in the secondary cat position. I am thinking about adding an Eisenmann Race as it's one of my favourite sounding systems for these cars. |

It drones a bit but is completely tolerable. I have Eisenmann race with an aFe HFC xpipe and the drone is mostly heard between 2800-3300 rpm. My wife never complains about drone on the longer drives but you will definitely hear it in 6th gear cruising on the highway at 3k rpm. I see some other M3 owners tend to grossly overstate how loud some of these exhaust + xpipe setups are to the point that I would question how much experience they have with cars that are actually really loud.
