Well, I guess I should update this thread. I sold the e90 M3 at the end of December. Will I regret? Probably (kind of already do), but it's time to move on to the next car. Sights are firmly set on an F10 M5, hoping to find a nice one soon!

As an owner of an f10 M5, e46 M3 and e30 M3, I will tell you they all have their strengths. I will also tell you, when you put the M5 in "Beast Mode" and turn off all of the nannies, the car transforms into a completely different animal. It suddenly loses the under steering boat feel. It is only then that the brilliance of the car can be understood.
