I don't believe it has extended leather. Just when I was saying it had everything.. you pointed that out. I just had my service advisor Eme a copy of the options list and I posted it above for everyone. I believe it has "everything EXCEPT extended leather".

Does the BMW buyback have any implications for resale down the road?

None. The only thing it does is block the next owner from being able to force BMW to buy it back (again). Which the new owner couldn't do anyway because the buyback law is for the original owner. It's a very redundant law that really only protects California buyers and allows them to shove a car down a manufacturer's throat if they have warranty repairs out of the box.
This is my third Buyback purchase and I've never ever had any issues. I'm sure there are times when the cars were truly a lemon [mechanically] and the law benefits the owner. Every one I've purchased had a minor issue (which is normal for any car) and the owner is fickle and uses the law to get another one just because they can.
The cars are completely fixed under warranty. In this case, it was an O2 valve if I remember right (haven't looked at the paperwork since I purchased it last year). My buddy has an M3 and had that same part replaced under warranty just as a routine service bulletin.
--- Does NOT affect warranty. Does NOT affect getting a loan or anything. If book value is affected [NADA or KBB], it's only a few hundred dollars just because there's an actual flag on the title.
