and so goes the trend.
I read a cool article a few months ago about the grand history of the U.S. M3 and why Americans don't understand how good the cars really are since we never get the best versions. The examples: E30 M3 Evo E36 M3 Euro Spec (with the 3.2L engine) E46 M3 CSL E92 M3 GTS ...and now the M3 lightweight sedan. |

I was really hoping this one would make it to the US.

so let me get this straight. We are BMW's biggest market yet we get treated with "throw a bone to the dog".
We don't need "you can look, but can't have" attitude. It is time for all German car manufacturers to rethink their strategies concerning the US market. |

They'll allow a Mustang Supersnake with 750hp and brakes that couldn't stop a Hugo, yet they worry about some lightweight seats and a 10% increase in HP.... Whatever??? Fair -- I think NOT

I was only hoping for this vehicle to be stateside so that the parts bin would be readily available in NA. This should be no surprise or disappointment to anyone. BMW has done this countless times in the past.

Eh, not so interesting. Would be very expensive, IMO... and doesn't look any different than the standard E90 M3. Black ZCP wheels don't really count

sorry for the typo and thanks for fixing that. I know exactly what you mean. It bothers me when people say "for all intensive purposes." It's "for all intents and purposes."

It is possible we may see these in Canada...... We always seem to get more special models than the US. If we get it in Canada some of you US folks may be able to import one from Canada!!!

That's BMW Cool-aid.
Porsche has been able to bring all kinds of limited run cars here but BMW can't?? Or won't.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
