Well in actuality, I probably won't get it, but it was nice. The power was insane Looked good too! They took it out of the showroom so I could drive it

How'd you manage that? I didn't get to drive mine till all the papers were signed. Very moddable, but it won't ever end. They should have built those cars from the ground up as opposed to just putting a big motor in it. It's likely I'll own another form of Shelby Mustang at some point in time. It just might be in the form of a very radical restomod. If you get a GT500 and like the power of it, you'll just get to where you want a Z06 instead. Then you'll be hooked on American cars. Then you'll realize how much nicer foreign stuff is and go back. High horsepower American cars are toys, high horsepower foreign cars, exotics aside, can be driven whenever.

+1... although old muscle cars are my fav... Ideal toy in the classics would be a 69 camaro... white with orange stripes and orange interior, maybe with a bigger motor than stock though.

My second car was a '69 Camaro. I bought when they were affordable and sold it cheap. You couldn't buy the car I had for under $40k today though.

Yea I would like to fix one up but another problem is time. I have a buddy that is working on a 70's camero 3 in wider with a tube chasis and a 502? I think. It is a beast and he is single and it has taken him2 years. He is a doctor for cancer research so he is pretty busy also. I know where to get the cars should I want a completely rebuilt one but I'm not looking to spend that much for another toy

I don't know what I'm going to do when I'm bored of the M (which will probably be next year).

I don't know what to tell you, but it does bother me that I can't seem to be satisfied with one car for any extended amount of time. I liked the previous two a lot and love my current one, but who knows how long that will last. Scared to think of what would be next on the menu.

That is where I am at. I don't want to mod much because I feel like it will be a waste till I get the next ride. Make a deal with you... first one to a Veyron wins

I'll tell you what you go for that Veyron and I'll build at least 4 cars that will make it look silly. I have no desire to own a Veyron. I mean really what are you gonna do with it? You're not gonna drive it like it's meant to be driven for fear of destroying it, unless you're just ridiculously wealthy, which in all reality you'd have to be in order to have a spare $1m to drop.
