I really admire your work and dedication.
However, i feel bad for the car, what a waste... Can find a junk and bring it to this stage, why rip off a nice M3?
And the color scheme ..... Very bad choice...

Tracus - People buy brand new cars and make them race cars immediately. This car was bought at auction with a lot of body (not frame/chassis) damage and blemished title. It's probably the best way to build a race car!

Since the color scheme is generating more buzz than the Gran Am cage (lol) I should probably address. (based on my observation of course) To many real deal track guys, 'looks' seem to be one of the least important components. Guys building E9XM dedicated track day cars typically have baller street cars and other toys. A track car is just that....a car that will take a serious beating. Lot different from the 'race inspired' stuff we are used to seeing here. This client's car is now in mint condition with a color scheme he likes. I suspect it will look better with final graphic package

Lastly, the car does not belong to Aaron Povoledo, he just took it out with our client for some shake down laps.

The car looks great!

Question though, is this bar from the main hoop to the door bar bent or is that just the angle? If it is bent, why?

Ah okay, misread.

The cage is definitely a work of art Is there any benefit from tying the cage into the subframe on the E9X chassis?

Pro driver Aaron Povoledo likes the E92M. This guy can get in any car and drive the hell out of it.. very cool.

Only power mods - Full Fabspeed exhaust and Active tune.

This is with a passenger during its first track shakedown day at NJMP (Thunderbolt). This was an open track test day.

So mike, what are we adding to mine. :-) Calabogie will be its BMW Club Race debut. I'm interested in lexan, to go sub 3s. Talk to me Mike. I'm 3180 right now.

Mike. I know the driver and the car. I dont think he is club racing. I'm putting a few more ponies down at the rear. I'm looking to lighten her up some more. Lexan side and rear.

Here are some pics of prep for Calabogie. Just got my numbers for the National Steward. Looking at #66 B Mod.

A big thanks to Ground Control and MCS for sponsorship.
