What's the best Carbon Fiber hood option for BMW E90 M3

Hey, I’m looking to purchase a hood for my 2011 BMW E90 M3. I purchased the car wrecked with front end damage and have pretty much got all the parts I need other than a new hood. I checked my local BMW dealer and they want over $2000 for an oem hood which I’m not really looking forward to paying that much for..
And I couldn’t find no one near where I live or even on eBay that have any used ones for sale that I could buy.

So I decided to look around online and saw a lot aftermarket Carbon hoods for almost half the price and was wondering what the best brand/website would be to buy one off of?

My only main concern is for the hood fitment to be as close to oem as possible meaning the hood lines and gaps aren’t horrible or completely off. As far as the quality of the carbon goes, I’m honestly not too worried about it because I will either way be painting it to match the same color as my car.

I just figured this might be a better alternative rather than spending over $2k for an OEM one. Please let me know what you guys think and if I should just buy an aftermarket carbon one, or spend the money and go buy an OEM one.

Thank you for reading and hope you have a great rest of your day

The problem you're gonna have is finding someone who still makes a CF hood for the E90 since it's not the same hood as the E92/E93. From what I could find searching online, the only company I see still producing them is Seibon:

OE Style: https://www.vividracing.com/seibon-c...150708985.html
BM Style: https://www.vividracing.com/seibon-s...150782309.html
GTR Style: https://www.vividracing.com/seibon-g...150782310.html

Arkym used to make a nice vented hood for the E90, but it's been discontinued for a while now. Motorsport24 also used to offer a great vented hood for the E90, but I was told they lost the mold for it and they were located outside the US so shipping was $$.

Personally, I would try to find a used OEM E90 hood to have refinished so you can ensure proper fitment.

Oh wow you’re right, I didn’t even notice that. I don’t get why so many aftermarket mods are made for the e92’s only. Which is honestly kind of a shame since both body styles are so sought out for. But yes, I am still leaning towards going the oem route if I can find a decent condition used one, but will definitely take a look at that Seibon one you recommend. Appreciate the response!
