There was a drop, due to currency fluctuations between US and AU

Looks like the intake charge is sent through the coolers on both sides. The air is cooled via a closed cooling system that is cooled with a front mount heat exchanger. If that's the case, there are lots of options to customize the cooling system.

I really like this...looks just like my 330 twinscrew!

Man that really is a weird setup. How efficient could that really be with all the heat coming from the blower encased in a metal intake manifold. I guess time will tell when the IAT graphs are produced.

A lot of OEM s/c use this type of setup with success. Check out the newly announced 640hp ctsv

Exactly. Done very much like all the oem positive displacement superchargers. Air to water intercooling is not rocket science.

Mike Benvo, how was it that your car is putting out 540 hp and Limey's was something shy of 500? Different dynos I'm assuming but were the conditions a factor or was it from additional tuning you tweaked? I think torque numbers were a little lower on Limey's car too. If it was a tuning modification would this be available if the kit is purchased through you?

So now that the kit is official, can you comment on your actual involvement in the product? It has been and still is confusing...

This is nice, Although the main part is more complex it is also a simpler kit to install and less parts involved.

It's good to see your involvement with this kit, Mike; it goes to the worthiness of your tune(s) and ability to tune differing vendor hardware.

And every one of them have issues with heatsoak stock. First upgrades for the V2 CTS-V, ZL1, and ZR1 are larger heat exchangers, more powerful pumps, bigger cores, etc. It helps that tuning for those cars is open and not locked down. Lots of collaboration and open source tools in the GM world. Not so on this locked-down platform.

I love the packaging in this kit though, I'm wondering how the TVS1740 will pan out as most of the OEM GM cars run the 1900 or 2300.

Any updates for stage 2 development.. stage 2 producing over 6xx whp will be the only way I will purchase a e92 m3.. just would like to know if it's actually in the works or is it still just a thoughy. My e46 m3 should be done around april.. and after 4 years I'm looking to see options I have without downgrading in power

Stage II is currently in development.

Will reply to the other questions on this thread tomorrow, taking the day off.

This Harrop kit is like your friend telling you how exceptionally awesome and amazing a movie is, and then you go to see the movie with a certain expectation and you're disappointed because it didn't measure up. Not trying to bash Harrop, because a PD setup using ITB's takes tuning genius, but if the performance was there I would have gladly paid $4.5k more than I just did for my ESS kit. Seems like the kit was pushed harder before its release than it is being now that it's available to the public and independent dynos are surfacing with figures a little hard to stomach when someone shells out $15k by the time it's all said and done with shipping and install.

Before the Harrop crew retorts, I understand there are benefits to the PD setup that are clearly seen in a dyno graph and so on and so forth. I'm just thinking out loud is all.
