SOB gravel spill

Today some truck spilled a ton of gravel on my daily commute. It was like being rapid FIRED at by a bb gun. I got HOME and my hood is rattled with a 100 tiny rock chips. Tomorrow i have to travel onto the same path and everyday after that too. I just replaced my windshield and had my car detailed over the weekend. BOY THIS REALLY SUCKS...

Sucks man sorry! I too have been seeing more and more little chips on my front end. Looks like repaint time for me. To have it all happen at once would kill me.

Is the city responsible for the damage? I can imagine hundreds of cars got damaged from this event.

I feel for you. Not quite the same, but my wife just bought a new Highlander and on the FIRST day she drives it she picks up a gravel chip and shatters the windshield.

CA roads suck.

Was it a city truck? Wonder if this is like those instances when a city will pay for your tires/wheels if you hit a big pothole...

Definitely good evidence in support of getting a dash cam, assuming you saw the truck dropping the gravel.
