Headlights solution help please.....
Well, where I live no street lights ,so at night I need a long reaching span of light. I changed bulbs with fresh new oem, but my headlights are very low pointing. I tried adjusting with the screws but don't help much. Even the high beam still falls short. But when I turn on the car at night my headlights at first few seconds are nice and reach far, then immediately they adjust and fall short again. What's the solution here? It becoming frustrating and dangerous to drive at night. Is there and other way to adjust them?

The way the sensor is installed it is easy to install it backwards causing the lights to point too far up or down. Seems to be a typical byproduct of suspension work with the sensor then being installed incorrectly. The rear one is on the driver side and you just need to remove the tire to get to it. There is a diy here somewhere on how to do it. Would check that it is installed correctly first both front and rear.

Did that this morning, everything working properly, I guess this is how it's meant to be. But trust me, might be ok for other countries with road lights, here is pitch dark in some areas, and when going at a speed I would love more light range. So is there a way to make them higher? Should I play around with the sensor rod and try set it in fixed position? This problem is literally making me wanting to get rid of the car, as I mostly drive it at night, and in order to be safe I have to drive at Grandma speed

I don't have this issue though. If I am down an empty street the lights aim correctly and I see pretty far on low beams. The high beams light up signs. Can you send a photo or something? Seems odd.
You have oem headlights and bulbs right? |

Open the hood, look around the top of each headlight you'll see a place to insert a Philips head screwdriver. I think you "loosen" the plastic screw to raise the headlight beam. I've done this on every E90/E92 I've owned to get the headlights just right. It definitely works! I typically end up with the drivers side headlight a bit higher than the passenger side - they light up the road ahead without BLINDING oncoming traffic.

Something is definitely wrong, my headlights have plenty of light out put even on completely pitch black roads.
After leveling them with the adjuster screws, have you looked at the headlight level arm on the driver's side front control arm? Maybe it's broken or missing, that also causes issues. Could also be the sensor itself.
