I would like to know if there REALLY is a difference in wheel spacer quality from brand to brand. I am not talking about the $10 ones at Pep Boys, but is there a difference between H&R, Tuner, etc? I am seeing some on Amazon in the $60-70 range vs. the $150 range and I am wondering if I will be fine with the less expensive ones. Any help on info on this would be great. Thanks!

I run Macht Schnell spacers and love 'em. No vibration or anything.

Turner>all others

^ this - I've also used three different brands of spacers and Turner's are the best. Zero vibration (due to overall machining and surface parallelism), excellent hub-centric fit to hub and wheel, top-notch anodized surface treatment, and were originally designed with machined notches (unlike other brands) for easy removal of spacers.

Another vote for Turner. I have had turner spacers on my E36 for a decade with zero problems.

To answer your question, yes there is a difference.

I will elaborate a little more, I had MS in 3 different sizes. I had a vibration out of a set of 15mm that took 5 times putting the wheel on and off to get it to stop. They are nice quality and did not have a issue out of the 12 or 18 spacers. However since moving to Turner spacers the difference in machine work is obvious. The notches as mentioned above are nice although I have never had a set of turner stick as they use a different hard coating not just a standard anodize. Lots of people have had many different spacers without issue. The turner are only a couple dollars more so if buying new might as well get the best. Once you have a set in hand it is clear they are better.

I agree having put hands on a variety of spacers and owning. A few sets Turners are the best-made. They could probably be lighter if they really wanted to get stupid with fea but otherwise I like them. And the finish is much better than most as well.

Another vote for Turner. USA Made and still nicer than the German-made H&Rs or Eibachs I've had.

Also nice to know that Turner has more than a solid racing background as well.

Been running H&R's for years now.

Going to take them to work and collect some data on them with a Leica 901 to inspect parallelism between both faces. See if your guys skepticism is real haha.

I usually run ECS spacers on all my cars and have had no problems. My TT and old E46 had no vibration at any speeds.

I recently put them on my M3 and X3...there's a SLIGHT vibration at around 85mph on the M and the X3 wobbles HORRIBLY when braking hard from around 45mph. Wheels are all torqued to spec.

Don't know why, and it's pretty aggravating
