^yeah, I've seen that too.
I think they're afraid of a temp drop and then you get icy roads.

Either way, I hope we don't get too much teaser weather because I have too much work to do on the car until mid/late April anyway.

That would make sense except when the temps are well above freezing for days ahead and they just salt the shit out of everything. I've noticed it's particularly like that in Brampton, whereas the rest of the GTA is not. Peel's incompetence is never surprising, so I wouldn't put it past them to pull such shit just for their budget, as it doesn't have to do with safety but politics...

Haha. Definitely down for a meet once the weather gets better though. Enjoying the new one as I'm now back in a 6MT

Looks like I spoke too soon. The GTA has been bombarded with salt and crappy weather for the past few weeks. Spring couldn't arrive sooner!

Considering myself lucky the roads have been clean down here since early February!

Had to stop driving for about a week in between but I have it back out

Maybe I'm just being a wuss. I wish I had time to pull it out and drive for the brief stretch of spring like weather .

Mine's still tucked away. The withdrawal is so very real... I haven't seen much less driven my car, ugh.

I took mine out in February for that week where it was like an average 10 degrees for the whole week. I just couldn't help myself lol Those days were just too nice.

I've been checking the extended forecast daily across multiple sites ....only to get upset at the weather ahead.I am just itching to get in and drive it, but wont likely come out till April at this rate... on the bright side with the beater i am enjoying no F***s given parking and maintenance.

I usually wait until 2nd/3rd week of April as enough rain has washed the salt and sand away by then and that's usually served me well. The roads in my area are literally bathed in white from excess salting yesterday, and with how bipolar the weather has been I wouldn't be surprised at another heavy snowfall next month.

I've been messing around with my 328i so much this winter out of sheer boredom/anxiety of missing the M...

Yeah I think there will be one final snowfall in April Unfortunately.... in my area its not the salt that i am worried about. The road conditions are ridiculous right now and it doesn't seem like its getting a proper fix any time soon. I've complained and written to the city of Toronto about it multiple times as well, most they'll do is cover potholes (and do a horrible job at it).

Oh yeah that too, the potholes are insane this year after the temperature fluctuations all winter. The Gardener looks like an exploded minefield.

Potholes ? Don't even come over to Montreal: roads are worst than in a 3rd world country.

Extending the olive branch...

Trying to get a meet happening on April 8th at La Poloma in Woodbridge. Hopefully the weather will be nicer and cooperate.

Have some interest from the F80/2 guys and hopefully I can pull a few of the F87 guys out with me.

Details to be ironed out in this thread...

http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1477978

All are invited. Hope to see some of you there.

Cheers!

Nice! I'd love to join but the M3 won't be back in time. I might drop by in the beater for a bit.

I'm in weather permitting. I might be able to get some other people with e46/e92s to come as well. Any idea on time?
