30-32 cold is the perfect temp, I’ve tried a few others and they all push or handle worse. Gotta consider that these were made for a 300 lb heavier car.

You’ll love them, but do NOT daily them. <65 degrees and any hard braking just slides. I wouldn’t want to have any hard braking emergency situations in these when they’re cold.

Like all R-compounds, camber plates will quickly pay for themselves.

How long do they last?

Did you order the 3 or 3R's?

3R's and they were fantastic at COTA!

I would compare them to my prior non-square 265/295 Cup 2 setup, similar in that they come on after they get warm and are fairly consistent for a session. The slimmer rears actually didn't bother me, forgot about it for most of the weekend even. Of note, I would typically PR for a session on the first or second lap after a warmup but imagine that's going to be similar for most any r-comp. Still, COTA is a bit longer track and the tires felt great throughout a session. I did PR 4 times over the course of the weekend but part of that was the track resurfacing, they did an excellent job on that work.

Fwiw I plan to keep using these tires for subsequent sets.

Haven't been caught in the rain with them yet.

Also wanted to add that for me starting at 26/27 psi cold felt the best, more grip. I didn't experiment too much with pressures though.

That's awesome! Glad to hear they handle well on our cars. The more I look I'm thinking I'll lean more towards the 3's. I track 4-6 times a year and want a tire that's good for the occasional cruise or drive to work, that's a step up Over the ps4s but not full blow 100tw tire.

The 3’s are apparently a little spooky in the wet - anxious to try them myself anyway because they seem so awesome otherwise

Hey Mobbin - forgot to ask you how the 3R were cold. Were they as freaky slick as I think I remember them being? How much wear did you see over the weekend too?

I don't think I would want to run them much in the wet - but I think if you can get some temp into them they might be manageable. Would think they would be quite a handful though until you got up to temp. Definitely do not think you would win any races on them in the wet though.
