new E90 owner
Hey everyone!!
Picked up this awesome E90. My 6th BMW. Probably my best. I've agonized over this decision for quite awhile. Was waffling between an e90 or e46 m3. I finally decided to focus on the E90. Looked & looked for months & months. I thought I had one about 3-4 weeks ago. A La Mans blue over black. Great looking one. But, I did my research & found a very troubling maintenance/repair history. Decided to pass on it & the next day found this beauty. Space grey was my first choice, but this white over the Fox Red looks GREAT. Only 25K miles. Both interior/exterior are a 10. Comp, convenience & premium pkgs. DCT. LOVE those comp wheels! Slicktop is a very nice bonus. I know, it's not a stick. That's fine with me. This will be a DD & I did not want to deal with a stick in the terrible traffic I have to fight with I'm still learning about it & what is can do. So much fun!! I'm sure I'll have lots of questions from all your wonderful knowledgable people on this forum. |

Nice, welcome to the M3 and AW/FR club!!! This was the one in SD right? Did they finally drop the price on it? That was on sale forever because their asking was ridiculous but after I bought mine I stopped looking at the market.

Yes, it is. They came down a few K. It's so clean & has a good maintenance record. To me, it's very low milage. Hopefully the RB's don't fall apart soon & it's good to me for a long time |

Congrats! Loving the fox red, let me know if you ever want to swap it for a nice worn black interior Maybe I'll see you around the Bay Area, I've got an AW slick top as well.

OH DAMN, never thought this was going to sell! I spoke with the dealer almost a year back, but he was very stubborn about the price. Very nice spec m3, couldnt have chosen a better platform.

Beautiful! I just bought mine too. I've got a Z4 with dream red interior. I wanted an E92 with fox red but settled with black. My wife thought it would be weird to have two white cars with similar interiors. Actually, she thinks it's weird I got another car in AW.

Thanks guys.
SFCM3. They didn't budge much. Just a few thousand. I probably over paid for it. It was the best car with the lowest miles I'd see outside of enthusiast auto. I guess sitting around for a year softened him up. Just a bit though Seems like the majority of slick tops are AW Hope to see some of you Bay Area guys around some day. Do they have e90 meet ups? |

Welcome and congrats! For sure one of the cleaner cars out there.
Can you share the price you paid? We were all curious what it would sell for. The seller was an absolute dick to me when I offered him $42,5 a few months ago. Check the CA subforum for Bay Area meets. See you around! |

Congrats on the E90! I was wondering why I haven't seen the ad for this car in the San Diego Craigslist, considering the original price they were selling it for. Good luck and she's a beauty!

Ahh, correction, wont see you in SD. Didn't notice that you were in the Bay area. I hope you flew down and had a great drive up!
I'd also be curious what you paid. I talked to them too when I was looking and they were tight and it was out of my budget range. Definitely the best example outside of EAG that I ever saw available. |

Hi everyone,
Wyatth, Sure glad you didn't get it before me !! My deal with them went down pretty fast. I saw the car on Friday night. Emailed right away. Talked to the "sales" guy about it. Got a couple of short videos on it the next day. I thought about it & decided I'm going for it. I called him up. We talked money for 5 min & it was done. He said they had been offered 40 & 41 & wouldn't take that. I said 42 & he said yes. It ended up being a little less. I wanted to get to a final price of 46 even. It came out a little more & they knocked off another $150. It was all very pleasant. I was quite surprised. I had no idea it was for sale that long. I had been only looking locally. This was the first time I "officially" expanded my search to the whole state. I really didn't want to deal with shipping. He said they had bought it late last year. Supposedly the owner wanted to keep it & then this year decided to sell it. It was originally a SF bay area car that they got a hold of & brought it down south. I've looked at enough of them to know what they had. And so did they I got a great shipping price in an enclosed trailer. Just a little more than the cost of flying down & gas back up. And I kept 650 miles off it I'm sure I'll get flamed for the price I paid. But, I feel it's worth it. I haven't driven it much since I got it. Today, I showed it to a friend & drove it hard for the first time. We both had giant smiles. And that was all in comfort mode. Haven't even setup the M button yet!! Let more if there are any more questions. Man these cars are great!!! |
