Dreaded Left Low Beam Malfunction

Team,
As described above, my left headlight has failed. I have searched, but found no answers that resolve my issue.
Here's the scenario:
Noticed moisture in headlight after driving home in the rain. Next morning, got this error. Hid is out, but angel eyes and turn signals function normally.
Troubleshooting (swaptronics):
I let the car sit in the sun the next day. Two days later got the error. Replaced HID, no joy. Replaced ballast, still no joy. Swapped driver and passenger headlight assemblies, and the same side still does not light up. I have proven that everything in the headlight assembly is fully functional. Is there a fuse or a control module that needs to be reset?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

You probably have a hard fault and need the Frm module reset or whatever its called. The bpm guys did it for me when I had that happen. I used icarly to initially see the hard fault. But it cannot reset them.

Thanks for that bit of info. No other way to reset it? Disconnect the battery for a few hours? Short a circuit somewhere?

Finally broke down and contacted BimmerGeeks. 10 minutes later, all good! Can't recommend them enough!
