What is this really worth? Good or bad deal?

So I am interested in this 2013 E92 M3 and want to get some real feedback from those who know around this forum on what the real value of this CPO is. Can anyone help me get a better grasp on what I should pay for this? Right now I have a 2003 E46 M3 vert but this E92 is amazing and I would love to add it to the driveway. Any thoughts would go a long way to making my decision. Thanks everyone!

24k miles, was 62.8K but now 54.8K LOL....
my friend just purchased an F80 M3, fully loaded + warranty + 3,200 miles on the odo + 1 owner clean carfax for 64K (78K new)

by the way, what a nasty engine room with oil leakage clearly out of the cap
honestly just by looking at that engine bay i can tell how it was treated and maintained and pretty much will walk away from this car...there's many other LCI E92 in greater condition and much better price

how do you have to drive to get that much dust in the engine bay? and what about the dealer who took pic that way...lol
shiny outside with CF parts doesn't mean the car is well maintained and looking good deal...

That seems really high to me.. Retail new is n the low sixties. Seems like they are discounting it as if were brand new. Have you checked the for sale section here? Or the pricing sub forum?

Agree that the engine bay is an immediate giveaway on how this car was treated. I would pass. Looks like they just put it through a drive through carwash and sprayed armor all in the interior to look good for a moment.

I can't recall the last time I saw an engine bay that dirty on an M car, most enthusiast will keep it clean enough. I would definitely keep looking around for a better deal and better taken car of M.

Looks like Trunk has been repainted... Doesn't look like factory paint finish, lots of orange peel look to it. I'd definitely pass, price is too high and also engine bay looks like shit, dusty and oil leaks!

Yuk, on the condition of this car...repainted trunk, indeed! ..and the rear valence mesh is missing. How does THAT even get knocked out?

(sigh) This sounds about right for San Diego. Significantly inflated used car prices - don't worry though, some dumb@ss will probably pay it...

FYI, cars don't accumulate fine dust like that in the engine bay in Socal. My best guess would be this car came from AZ, NV or the CA desert. That fine sand and dust gets into everything - ask me how I know.

The one thing that sucks about buying in Cali? Is that dealers tend to sell high because of the year and low mileage.

This car looks like it was treated poorly! Do to how the engine is looking.
I wouldn't be surprised if the air filter is looking black.
You might as well go and get a second hand F8x for that price. This car should be in the 43-47k range?!

Would you consider an original owner well looked after 2008 E93 M3 Cabriolet?

Let me know your thoughts, the vehicle is located at Policaro BMW and here are the links with all the vehicle details:

Thanks for the feedback guys. I had a weird feeling about it but not knowing nearly as much about the E9Xs as I do my E46 I wanted to get some input from those in the know. I purchased my E46 M3 from a forum member at M3forum.net sight unseen and it has been amazing so I will start looking more here for one to purchase. There were specific things to look for in the E46 that were potential big issues (sub-frame, VANOS rebuilds, etc) are there the same with the E9X?

Desirable combination/configuration, but not terribly well cared for. I'd keep looking.

Low sixties? How do you figure that?

Sticker on my 2012 was a little over 69K and I don't have the comp package, Harmon Kardon, etc. This car looks pretty loaded so original sticker must be above 70K.

So the dealer is obviously trying to get me to bite on this, what do you guys feel would be a fair price to pay for it and what would I need to have them do to address potential issues from someone not caring for it in an appropriate way? What would things would I need them to replace on it to ensure there wouldn't be any more problems than buying any other 2013 M3? I will definitely take it to my local trusted indy shop for a full PPI too. Looks like they have adjusted the online price down too, showing original MSRP at $62.9k and asking $52.9 currently as a CPO. Would any of this change your minds on the car?

PPI would help, but I'd check also with the condition of the underbody. Based on the carfax, it was a two owner car, originally out east in MA. Might have been driven in winter conditions.

Lots of questions unfortunately, as others have said, orange peel on trunk, and missing grille/mesh on rear bumper. Also looks like the steering wheel might be dirty or worn.

Definitely didn't wash the engine bay, which is quite disappointing, especially if you're going to sell a car. The stains under the oil cap don't necessarily indicate a leak, could it just be spillage from when the last oil change was performed?
