Audible Clicking Noise

Wasn't sure what section to post in, but

I've been having this audible clicking noise occasionally while turning the wheel, mainly happens when I turn the wheel to the left. Also more prominent when I'm turning the wheel to the left while in reverse. Doesn't make a noise if I'm not turning the wheel obvs.

Not sure what it is, but on top of that my steering makes a creaking noise while still. It's quite loud.

Anyone know what it might be? I tried to get the clicking the best I could on video. I'll try to get a video of the creaking noise. I'm assuming the whine at full lock is the power steering pump

I fixed the creaking noise by using white lithium grease, but the clicking is still there.

I had this on my 335 after I moved the steering rack from the subframe to install downpipes and didn't tighten the two bolts enough. I went back and tightened them more and the sound was gone.

Try checking engine undercarriage brace/skid plate bolts. There is 9 in total, p/n 33326768354 (#9 on picture)

I know for a fact I'm missing one, I'll check again to see how many are gone. Also call the local dealer to see if they have any stock

Retorque the two bolts holding the steering rack to the subframe. It's not uncommon for those to vibrate lose over time. Especially if they have been loosened before for service. Those bolts being lose, makes that exact noise.

Would you have the torque specs or the TIS link? I'll do that now

or is this the correct one?

Semi-Solved. Thanks Solo_M_Tech

REASON FOR SEMI-SOLVED: I did hear the click just quietly this time but that was when I got home after driving around. I'll test again once I go pick up the car from the dealership. I'm going to buy new bolts later on. The creaking noise came back, Im assuming cause it was raining the white lithium grease spray might have washed off. Going to try the paste in its spot instead see if that helps.

Also, I kinda fucked up. one of the skid plate bolts caught and bent the threads and doesn't go back in and I can see its bent.

trm0053 I bought that bolt and it was longer than the other ones so I put it in the middle spot, but now I have an outer one off.
Otherwise, it might have been solved.
