Tune up time? Plugs and air filter and if it persists maybe look at TA's, idle control valve or tank breather. Obviously a code reader would help. If the RPM drop is after a fill up then most likely tank breather.

I haven't driven my M3 around that much since getting it, but I have noticed that it doesn't idle higher while the AC is on compared to my 335...my 335's rpms would bump up a bit when I was in drive mode and with AC on. Once in sport or manual, it wouldnt do it much. With no AC on, it wouldn't do it at all.

Bouncing RPM at idle is commonly associated with the idle control valve or tank breather as Scrippy noted.
