Price check E92 M3 please

E9x prices are all over the map right now so I'm looking for some opinions on the below cars and their pricing.

2008 E92 M3 - 21k miles - power train warranty avail one thru dealer for $2300
alpine white with carbon roof
Speed cloth interior
No nav
No EDC
6spd trans
Power and heated seats
19inch OEM wheels
Comes with Meistersheft GTC exhaust and stock exhaust
Price of $39k

2013 E92 M3 - 25k miles - factory warranty until summer 2017
Alpine white with carbon roof
Speed cloth interior
No nav
Does have EDC
Manual and NON heated seats
DCT trans
Base 18inch wheels
Price of $46k

Very curious to hear everyone's thoughts. I do prefer a stripper M3 so I am fine paying the price as if the car was well optioned.

Thanks!!

I just looked at a 11' and was going to offer him 34k for his loaded non comp with 25,000 miles. He is asking 41.

Decided on a brand new 16 m3 instead.

That 08 just eyeballing just by going private party should cost u no more than 30 or under.

I would skip the most of the 11's but 12 and 13s all together.

I second this. Both you are looking at seem too high.

I just got a loaded, perfect condition 2011 e92 with 26K for $38.5K.

Private seller or a dealer? That's a great deal but certainly not the norm and not what the majority can expect to find.

Values on these cars are just all over the place, it's crazy.

I tend to agree with your thoughts on the 08. Being a 20k mile alpine white carbon roof stripper car with manual trans I'd even go to 35k I think (no exhaust). $37kish with exhaust seems more than fair, would you agree?

Hard to say what everything is worth because of discrepancies in price due to region, but in Texas this is what I am seeing:

Purchased an AW 2008 with leather/EDC/CF roof/6MT/pwr&heat seats and 40k miles 2 months ago for $29.5k. Unfortunately it was totaled due to a hit&run and my bank paid me $31k today.

I am seeing other 2008 models with 40-60k miles in my area listed for $30-$32k.

In no way would I pay over $33 for the 2008 you mentioned.

I'm just not seeing cars of this quality anywhere and I've been looking for over a year. I don't want a car with 40k miles, I'm pretty set on something with 25k and under. And it has to have carbon roof and no options. The loaded up cars are a dime a dozen.

What's surprising is how much premium KBB and NADA put on a car with low miles. For example a 2008 clean retail base is 26,650. A car with 40k miles gets a 6k mileage adder.. The same car with 20k miles gets a 9,250 adder. So it's hard to compare cars unles mileage is similar.

$39k is definitely too much for the 08 I mentioned but 33k for that car with a 4K exhaust would be the steal of a lifetime. I'm willing to pay a premium for this particular 08 because it's a rare bird, question is how much haha.

I guess you could either:

- Pay premium for the stripper you found

- Buy a more loaded car, and sell/remove the unwanted options

- Keep waiting

I would personally opt for option 2! Good luck!
