Nav screen fix (scratched anti-glare coating)

Hello all:

As others have noted, the anti-glare coating on our nav screens is pretty fragile. Mine was scratched and after digging around on a few forums, I settled on the method of removing the factory AG coating and applying an aftermarket film. There are several kinds out there, I went with Screenpatronus, which was pre-cut to fit.

Here's an overview:

Pretty good write-up. How do you like it? Alot less glare than the factory unit?

Thanks for posting this! I have this problem too but I'm very bad at applying screen protectors as proven with many cell phone attempts. But the scratch really is annoying me

Actually the factory coating is more effective, so I would only recommend this if your screen is scratched or worn.
