carbon fiber trunk pics
Gents,
Here are a few picks of Erickson style lid. I like the naked look with the jet black.. Fitment looks good, Motorwerks in Houston as always does a great job! They said it was a bitch to fit internally. Splitters next week. I hope you guys like it! BTW, the weight savings shaves AT LEAST 2 seconds off 0-60.. :_) Last edited by templarklimek; 05-25-2012 at 06:49 PM.. |

Thank you gents.
Mods so far: intake exhaust/xpipes pulleys ECU tune CH-R's trunk hoodvents(carbon) carbon mirror caps Splitters(this week) All thats left will be: Dinan rear end 4-piston brake kit. Carbon fiber interior trim kit(tasteful one) Overall I think the carbon bits blend well with the black without hopefully turning my car into a "ricer" |

I know you were joking on the 0-60 thing, but wouldn't removing weight from the rear technically hurt 0-60 times if anything? Always figured more weight in the rear provides more straight line traction. Trunk looks good though.

I would think so, but for the guys who are really into tracking their cars and getting every ounce of performance out of it use carbon fiber bits with a beevy of other weight saving measures to reduce weight as much as 200 pounds I think.
Me, I just like the way it looks. |
