These are some hernia inducing jacks! Damn.

I just jack from the rear jacking point, put a jack stand on the front jacking point and lower down to the jack stand. Put jack under center jacking point and jack the car up. Put jack stand on other front jack point and lower down. Front end is up.

Rear involves putting a piece of 3/4 plywood on jack pad, placing jack under diff, jack up rear of car and put jack stands under rear jacking points.

Doesn't take that long and you can use a regular aluminum racing jack. Your back and your abdominal muscles will thank you.

i've been curious about these, but dissuaded by the air needed for use. it would be ok for home, but my motivation would be for the track.

i've also thought something like this would be neat if it had a low enough profile. feed it under there to the center jacking point and us an extension attached to an impact driver to blast it up...

I got tired of the routine and all the extra equipment... jack stands, 2x4s, ramps, multiple jacks etc. I ended up buying a quickjack and it's been awesome. If you wrench enough look into investing in one.

That's my long term plan investment. Just waiting for the right time to buy it

I just bit the bullet on a QuickJack too. Holy awesomeness. Makes me want to work on the car. Any car.

And you can use code "SMART" to get a $100 discount right now.

I got the 7000EXT so that I could use it with my wife’s SUV. Give me a couple of weeks and I’ll post a photo of my storage solution once it’s finished. I plan to store them vertically.

Hey another Florida member! That’s the model I’m considering for the flexibility and to be able to use them to service the truck. Thanks for your help.

I've seen people just push them together and park over them when not in use. Not sure if the M3 has enough ground clearance for that though. If it does I think this would be more convenient than moving them out of the way each time since they are quite heavy.

I got the 5000 SLX since my other cars (small and midsize SUV's) are well under 5,000 lbs.

I currently have the lift units off to the side on the floor near the walls of my garage, but I need to figure out a way to stand them up. I just have too much other junk in the way at the moment between all the kids' sports stuff, etc.

The other option is to leave them pushed close together on the floor under where I park the car and then just pull them out to the lift points when I need to use the QJ. I leave the hydraulic hoses disconnected (obviously) when the QJ is not in use.

Now the jack that I currently have won't cut it for the M3 - not low enough.

I have found these two online - Arcan Low Profile and Extra Low Profile.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BMPFI6I...=3D5NWXR983WZV

Any suggestions? Is it IMPORTANT to go for the extra low profile one?
Think I'm going to try these ramps (10 degree incline) and then put stands on the front lift points...that is if the ramp doesn't get in the way
