Ready for your close-up?

Nothing much special here, just practicing some close-quarter shots.

Canon 50D | EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM | overcast afternoon

Pretty much no post-processing done, all pics are shot in RAW, then just ran through Canon's Digital Photo Professional software (came with the camera) to automatically adjust levels, then resized and saved as JPEG. Thus, EXIF info are still available.

Very nice pictures. Spacers would make it look even better.

Did anybody else came from an E46 330i ZHP? The fabled ZHP shift knob? It was my first manual car, and I loved it! So, imagine my disappointment with the M3 6MT's shift... lever. Too long, I felt, and definitely not enough weight.

"Did they get this from the a 5-series? E39 M5 maybe?"

Unfortunately when I decided on changing it, the ZHP knob wasn't in wide circulation yet, so I went with the Performance one from Tischer.

In case you think it's too short and stubby, the shift boot was pulled up and wrapped around the base of the knob to keep it in place.
