Driver side window replacement

I am having the infinite pleasure of needing the driver side front window replaced on my three day old E92. It was shattered during window tint installation.

Has anyone else been through a window replacement i.e. any concerns, things to look for, etc?

Factory glass is being overnighted.

Come on you gotta give us more than that. I have got to know how they managed to shatter your window during tint installation.

Apparently, there was a flaw in the glass somewhere so when they pushed much on the window to conform the tint it just exploded. I saw a security video that verified their account.

I don't think it's such a big deal. Just have them make sure all the shards of glass are cleaned out first. The door trim will need to be removed. Be careful with wires back there and the air bag. Any competent service shop should have no problem.

Cheers.
