good to know. I haven't washed my car since installing these, I guess I better spray some water around them and see if I leak too. Thanks for the heads-up!

Just re-pin the wires like how the originals are done. It's super easy. The schematics showing the DIY are readily available. All you need are the new connectors and like 30 mins of time - if that.

Doesn't make sense to spend $120 USD for a harness when you can do it the OE way for a fraction of that cost.

EDIT: I have attached the wiring schematics to this post. See https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=772784 for more information. And this: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1287195

This little gold digger is getting new actuators at 34k miles.
BMW has an extended warranty on the actuators up to 70k miles I believe. I would look into that before you spend money on replacements. 34k seems crazy. Mine went up around 150k miles.

The issue is my TCU side won't reach the MULF side unless I can just install it the other way? Otherwise I'm looking at extending the wiring

I believe that's what the poster in the second link did, and it works well enough.

Pretty sure I did the same on my old 335i and never had any issues with buttoning things up after.

I also left the helper spring off. Try giving it 2 weeks, that's about when I got used to it and really noticed how much better it is. Regarding the pedal covers, yes, it is pretty much just cosmetic but certainly looks much better.

Where do you have the pin? I put mine in the middle hole.

Originally I had the pin In the furthest hole, then I tried it closest to the pedal, then I just took it off all together. The only traffic I come across is weekend traffic, so shouldn't be too aggressive. Mines an older m3 where it only has one helper spring, yours must be a newer one where it has two? I just drove it again, it does feel good especially with the new short shifter.. feels more racecar for sure..

Yeah, I removed the larger outer spring which was recommended in the instructions and left the smaller inner spring in place.

I also installed the F10 M5 knob which is shorter and a little heavier. Combined, I think it has greatly improved shifting and has significantly reduced notchyness.

Received some IND parts, and a new trim from a poster on here. Alpine tune arrives tomorrow. unfortunately, I now have no left front mirror after an unfortunate highway issue, so I'm just going to frown and not do a damn thing.
