No worries I was your age in 2004 when I fell in love with my first e46 M3 build in 2002 ... so you will have many fun years ahead Happy Motoring

PS. Prior to my first M3 I drove a Benz AMG 300 series build in 1987 my friend out west still babies the car and loves it

Good stuff Rolf, thanks for the good thread as usual...just glad to not be 100 yrs old yet, not sure if I could handle driving the beast still.

Please explain ... up to then I've got you in spot no. 2
No I really meant 16 (how did you get 72?), a restricted drivers license pretty much means I can't drive after 11 pm and I'm not allowed to have more then one passenger in the car under 21 (unless siblings). Also more limitations on the amount of tickets I can receive before I can lose my license. I said that I feel like I'm 41 do to the amount of people (trust me there is a lot), waiting for me to screw up. That leaves a quite a bit for me to stress about when driving around but so far it's been for the best, I have a family member with a private airport that I can do runs on in the spring to let the ///M really breathe free on.

Well good for you ... Unfortunately my list is only for drivers 18 and up .... So sorry I will have to take you off the list ... Get back to me when you are 18.

Meanwhile all the best ... Take care

Would this family member be open to hosting an M3Post members' meet-up sometime?

I like to thank everyone for participating in this adventure and adding your toy's photo to your post.

You may have noted I've come to a final name change since it appears I am the oldest in the area so I made a slight change

Mr. ///M3 RD ... aka M3RD

Thanks again everyone for playing along!

Welcome to the forum ... I'm sure with practice (as you know) you will get used to the MT the 1 to 2 is a bit tricky ... when I had mine (now drive a M-DCT) I used to start often in 2nd gear for 1 to 2 often sticks a bit.
