Weird Voltage issue

Just started like a week ago, got the "increased battery discharge" message, but the car drove fine. Didn't think much of it. Next day, car didn't start. Was a low battery, had it replaced by AAA.

Everything went fine, drove that day, no error messages or anything. Next day, got the "increased battery discharge" message again. Figure possibly bad alternator, ordered a new one.

While waiting for the alternator to arrive, I ran my bluetooth OBD scan tool, and monitored the voltage while the car was running and it goes from around 11v to 9v then upto 13v as I drive around. Did the same test on my friends e92 m3, his sat steady at 14v.

Fast forward to today, just finished swapping the alternator and still have the same issues, where the voltage goes from 11v to 9v to 13v while driving.

I'm going to replace the IBS lead cable next, and probably the IBS terminal after that if it continues. Anyone have any similar problem or can point me to a right direction on troubleshooting the issue.

Thanks

sounds like you have a parasitic draw: excessuve current draw when car is off, i would suggest bringing it to a place you can trust or a dealer to figure out the source of issue...
