Pad film on rotors after wash

It seems like my brake pads stick to the rotors when I wash my car. They are Stoptech sports. Is this normal?[IMG][/IMG]

Rotors are supposed to be bedded with a layer of pad material. I think the act of washing it off made it look spotty since it's normally somewhat uniform blue-ish grey. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but that's what it looks like to me.

You get rid of it by driving the car and using the brakes.

LOL... My bad for not being clear. What I meant was is there a way to get rid of it and prevent it from coming back? I don't care how it looks on the rotor, I'm just worried those marks will cause vibrations over time.

I wouldn't worry about it. Typically those marks wear off with use.

Good to hear. I literally just put ST60/40 on this past weekend and already noticed a few spots on the front rotors after driving in the rain yesterday. Pads were also stuck to the rotor this morning, the car had to break them loose. I'll probably bed in the pads again once the weather clears up, just to be sure.

My other car have stoptech ST40 and never have this issue, so I find it a little odd.
