It will be an interesting adventure with this VT4 that's for sure.
Indeed it will. It would be awesome if in the end the block could be purchased to those build specs. Or a bearing solution is offered.

Here's a recent event he just attended, showing what the car can do at ~12psi.
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1162542

As you can see his is running great, my VT3 has been running solid for 3 years, and 27K miles as well.

Hey Sal, good question, it would have been nice, but at the time we just wanted to do a drop in option (LC Pistons, Rods, bearings), to see what it could do, and take the power progression slowly to where it finally is now, ~720whp and the current WR Trap speed holder for any E9X in the 1/2 Mile, along with 27K miles on the odometer. I'm pretty sure that it's racked up the most miles of any built motor, 700whp, daily driven car, that's been to several Airstrip/Track events, so I'm proud of what we've been able to accomplish with just this drop in setup and the V3 blower, but no doubt the stroker option is very appealing.

Thanks Brother!

On the T trim, I don't want to deal with the oil drain line, lol, if I ever did upgrade though it would be the V2-TI that Zim is running.

I'm thinking of taking it
To the next level by breaking the 800whp barrier.

Zim how much can the block handle? Do you have upgraded head studs? That other individual has not been successful running that high and his shop is fairly competent

I would think adding ARH headers would get him close to 800whp and reduce PSI easing the burden on the block...

thats awesome man im looking at a vt3 setup down the road but, having too much fun out here in Germany while stationed here and dont know of a competent shop to do it. maybe Manhart. but, i have almost 10,000 on my vt2625 now and running perfect and spending most of its time well above 120 mph. i love this motor and ESS's bulletproof setup.
