E90 LCI uninstall coding required?

Hey guys,

Sorry is this is a poor question, but I am thinking about removing the LCI trunk and tails (that were retrofitted to 2008 E90) and going back to standard. Will the new tails require coding again, since they were coded for LED?

Nope.

Moreover.... why? The Pre-LCI rear end severely outdates the car by a decade.

Not required but you may want the bulb checks to be turned back on. Otherwise you won't get a warning when a bulb is out.

Did the trunk swap three years ago (almost) and paint job does not match. Is irritating me now, and turns out respray might cost more than swap back. I even changed the center console with idrive controls for CiC with planned upgrade, so maybe I should just bite the bullet...
