6MT fluid strainer change: stupid mistake w/ crush washer

Not sure if this has been discussed before, or if it'd be best to append to the DIY thread. Mods, please feel free to move if appropriate.

Did a fluid change on my 6MT recently, including bolts, strainer, and washers/gaskets. Apparently, when I was installing the strainer, I let the crush washer drop onto the threads and it didn't center itself as I screwed the strainer in. It ended up slightly out of position and a bit mangled, causing an improper seal and thus a slow leak.

Minor mistake, but annoying because fixing it obviously involved letting some fluid out. Lesson learned.

FWIW.
