Input on price for 2011 e92 stripper
It's a stripper from what I can tell, with a carbon roof...
-one owner with 85k miles -2011 with the USB connection, that mean its a 2011.5? -Jerez Black with black/red interior, red inserts on the seats and door panels -6 speed -no iDrive, no EDC, just the power and traction control button on the console and a business pro headunit -18" rims -Manual seats Is this about the lightest coupe you could get? How rare is the two tone interior? Price is at around $28k |

sounds nice.
not the lightest. lightest would have cloth seats, manual seats, non-heated.

OP, the one you mentioned isn't a bad price. That's about in line with the rest of them out there on Autotrader/Cars.com etc. Only thing I would consider is what potential modifications you'd like to do... I contemplated getting a stripper model myself and changing suspension/wheels to the comp package set up and found that the comp. package models are only about 3k more give or take. The cost of the mods would be near that department anyway so just keep that in mind. For reference I paid about 31-32k for my '12 comp 6spd loaded w/ 59k miles just about a month ago.

I'm taking my time and not rushing or settling on a car. I have owned a bunch of older M3's over the years and in my experience the factory shocks/struts were tired by about 50-60k miles with some seepage. Is that not the case on the E90/92 models?
I just assumed that regardless of the options I'd likely end up replacing the shocks/struts/springs anyway doing a suspension refresh on the car. If that logic is solid than basically I'd just be paying a premium for the wheels right? |

Mine is at 60k miles and everything looks/feels very new & fresh underneath. Plus, when it's time to refresh the suspension I'll be hard pressed not to go w/ OEM or Dinan quality. For my DD i'd rather keep it as close to stock/OEM as possible, in my experience they've always held up the best.
