Is this low height normal? (Stock E90 with CH-R)
... or the springs sag? I have an 08 and I just put these CH-R on the car with new BFG KDW tires
245-35-19 front 275-35-19 rears I compared mine to other M3s at the dealer and they are higher than mine. There are barely any gaps on the rears as you can see in the iPhone pics below. I just received my eibach springs, and now I can't decide if I should install them or not. It looks pretty low to me except the fronts. so are these tires taller (couldn't be that much taller) or the springs sag? |

Looks normal to me with a 275/35-19 rear. My car with 275/40-18 rears has about the same rear fender gap (those two sizes are approximately the same diameter). The 275/40-18's are about 0.3" taller than the 265/40-18, I'm sure the difference is similar for the 19's.

Do the KDWs run wide an square?
I run 255/35 and 275/35/19s and my rear does not have much gap with stock springs either.

I just installed the Eibachs on my 09 sedan and they do not do a whole lot to the ride height. I'm pretty sure mine have settled all the way, but especially in the rear, the springs don't lower the car more than maybe .5" or .6"
You should be fine. I'm running 295/35 -18s for a track setup and there is more than enough room. The stock rears are just fine as well. My car is also my DD

Another reason your car looks lower could be because the offsets of your new wheels are a bit more aggressive than stock, pushing the wheel further outward. This makes fender gap appear narrower.
Also, your 275/35/19 tire is a bit taller than stock, so combined with the above, you're filling out the wheel well a bit more, thereby making the car look like it's lower.

Ahh I see... Thanks for the replies guys.
Stalker - no, those aren't wide and square, more like curved edges. I guess I'll install the springs this weekend. |

the gap looks big because of your tire size. if you had 25/35/19 on the front, the front gap would be reduced as well. you should try this.

That's the OEM tail, 08 - I just put a red transparent layer on the white side
Montreal - yea, that's the stock spring. I just put the eibach springs and looks a lot better now Spdrcrj - Spring install went fine. The rear looks the same to me, but I like the front now. |
