Will it break? hi-fi amp and earthquake sws

I have my new to me m3 that arrived last week, has standard hi-fi, stock as can be and I have earthquake sws (don't remember which ohm) in the garage. When I decide to swap them out, will my stock amp not handle it?

This is only temporary, I won't play it loud or to an extreme. I just want to give it a try and listen. I have BSW mids and tweeters to replace as well with an Alpine 6 channel amp.

Depends on the impedance, if it's too low it will over draw from the stock amp and fry it.

I’ll double check mine, if it happens to be 8 ohm’s hopefully I’m ok then? But I won’t play them for long, it’s mainly to make sure it works

What setup did you end up getting? Looking to make some changes to my HiFi setup.

Drove with the 2ohm version for 22 months without problems. then I upgraded the rest including new amps.
Unless you are playing insanely loud or live in areas with extreme heat, this combination will work (when used with normal sense).
