Have a mate with a M235 in MW. Stunning colour, suit the car perfect, maybe even better as its more modern. On an old bugger such as the E90 I think the AW works pretty well though, as more of a "classic" these days...😎

Funny how psychology works and why certain colours appeal to certain individuals and what that says about them. What is clear is almost a universal attempt once selected to defend the choice with facts and figures that back up why that selection was the right one.
For most of the general public I rather doubt that they could discern the differences between AW & MW or Jerez Black and Jet Black. I guess as long as you like it, that's really all that matters |

I actually considered purchasing either an Alpine White and a Mineral White M3. When I went to see the Mineral White one, depending on how the sun hit it, looked a bit yellow. I personally did not like it as much.

My 335 was AW, my e93 was MW, and now I'm back to AW in my e92.
I loved MW on my e93, it had a luxurious look to it and just glowed at night. However, I'm glad to be back in AW now since it's a classic color and easier to match down the road. Plus when the car debuted it was in AW, probably because it's the best color.

MW for sure looks better, but I would never do a 3 stage paint again because it's hard to match the paint
I would actually get alpine white and maybe do it up with Xpel Stealth |

There are actually 3 whites + frozen. Brilliant white individual being the 3rd which for me is the nicest white by far although I might be a touch biased

Loved the flake in my former MW M3. Too many AW's rolling around, plus, I've always been a fan of more unique colors. Nothing against the AW white though, is a great classic color.

Ive known people who took their mineral white M3 in for a front bumper repaint, and the body shop insisted that they must blend a portion of the fender (or maybe the hood, cant remember) for a perfect paint match. Is this the case, or was the shop just trying to make a few extra bucks? Either way, I think this hinders originality and now the resale value |

Everyone has an opinion on color, I understand the sun angle and changing if not yellowing of color, but my input is (as all are.. often unsubstantiated and biased) that I bought my e92 because of the limited # as an influence, but no more than the fact I thought its changing tone was both subtle and attractive- quite simply I like everything about it. Boils down to your view... just like life .. Different Stokes for different folks and if you're driving the car like you should, the paint color should be an after thought except for when you get out and look back at the car as you walk away with that smirk on your face!
