New Pictures Added--Review of my 2010 Project Car

Ok Guys:

I promised I'd give you my opinion after the 1200 mile break-in service was completed. These threads tend to get a little wordy, so I'l keep it brief.

Car: 2010 M3 Coupe

Mods: All Dinan, 3.62 Diff, Intake, Full racing Exaust, Racing Exhaust Software Tune, Stage 1 Suspension, Pulley (pending)

Miles: 1550

I couldn't be happier with the car and the Mods. I just came out of a 2007 M6, and also own a 2008 F430 spider. I've owned 2 previous M3's, a 1998 and a 2002. The quality of this car is superb! The comfort is incredible, and I'm 6'3. The driving dynamics and balance couldn't much better.

This car is definately faster than my M6 up to 100mph. Over that I'm not sure, because the M6 is a monster on the high end, and I haven't realy had a chance to test the car above those speeds. The Dinan exhaust sounds incredible. It still doesn't compete with the 430, but then nothing really does. Other than the 430, it the best sounding car I've evr heard, and many people have confirmed that. The DCT is just crazy. I've never driven anything like it. Very well balance, very fast, and a ton of fun!!!

All in all, this is a very happy addition to my stable, and I plan to enjoy it for many years to come.

Feel free to fire questions.

The M3 sounds like a great DD for you. The M6 is not my cup of tea...I would go with Aston Martin (I know it generally costs more) for a GT car. And the F430 spider is a magnificent weekend warrior with the top down.

I am hoping I get a stable () like yours when I am a little older.

Judging from reading your previous threads, it seems as though the F430 is your true PRIDE & JOY.....And I don't blame you for that.

Good luck with the mods man!

Hey Arnie, sounds good.

Can you give me your impression of the mods before/after?

BMW is bringing out a special cosmetic M3 and I'm considering it.

The performance gains were substanial. I can't really quantify it because I didn't do Dyno's and I never ran anyone prior to the work. All I can say is the butt Dyno feels incredible, the sound is to die for, and I retained 100% of my drivability.

Here are a couple recent pictures:

Hey Jamie

Couple of funny coincidences. My Sons name is Jamie, I’m from Toronto originally, and we both have the same taste in cars, including I’m thinking of picking up a 911 Turbo Cab as my next toy.

My bad. When I referred to Stage II software, I meant the version designed to support the Mid Pipe/Racing Exhaust.

Brand New Photoshoot

What the hell, I going to go out on a limp and say that this is the most incredible car I've ever owned. The overall looks, performance, handling, and comfort (other than the 430) are untouchable. I've had over 50 brand new cars, and I just couldn't be more impressed. Thank you BMW and Dinan!!!

Here are a few more pictures my Son took on Thankgiving. He's getting damn good with this photography thing!!!

Great pics and beautiful car!

Any shots of the interior? I've never seen White on Silver.
