I realized that they have 'lands' on the threads about 7-10mm in, so that'll stop them at the right place.

No loctite, which proved to be a good idea when I removed my old 2.0" to put these new ones in.

Just cheap amazon studs, didn't strike me as necessary to drop a ton of coin on what is essentially steel all-thread 12x1.5. All-thread is like $7 for 36". Haven't sheared after 20k miles and 2 track days ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

$20 pair of spacers fits absolutely perfectly on the hub too. Dare I say that they fit better than a $60 set of spacers I have from a forum sponsor?
Yikes. Not where I'd skimp...

Out of curiosity what track do you go to?

Also decided to use Red Line 5W50, and in MARCH 21 will replace OEM bearings to BE.

and I'm looking for the information about this "mix")
As I understand in your case, everything is OK?

Thanks. It gets a good amounts of laughs. It's also funny to see the look on some people's face when they ask me what MPG means but figure it out simultaneously as they ask.

I was thinking the same exact thing. I NEVER cheap out when it comes to parts that hold my freaking wheels on!

Installed 380MM Girodisc 2 pc Front Rotors

I Upgraded my 380x30MM Stock rotors to F80/82 M3/M4 to Girodisc 380x32MM 2 pc rotors.

As ive mention here before, I made a retrofit brackets for 6 pistons calipers from AMG 63, and retain the OEM 360 Stock rotors. so I did.

https://www.m3post.com/forums/showth...632273&page=28

So decided to make another one to fit the 380MM Rotors, got a used 380MM rotors and I did and used it for awhile.

Over the weekend I made an upgrade to Girodisc 2 pc 380mmx32mm rotors. This is OEM fitment for F80/82 M3/M4.

I Paired with Hawk HP Plus Brake pads.

Put a smile on my face and ready for serious track days

Good to 110mph! No rub on a dropped ZCP rear either.

Here's a link if anyone wants them. I wouldn't get the 10mm ones.

Laguna Seca and WSIR, probably about 5 hours total. I've had better luck with these than the OE lug bolts- good hardness, tensile & shear strength.

New member! If you don't mind me asking, how much did the paint job cost and did it turn out better than the factory paint? BMW didn't have the best paint during this generation IMO.

I change trans, diff fluid, plugs, annually through FCP. About 10k miles plus track days.
i used at summer trackdays Motul 8100 10w60 but with OEM bearings : one change for 3-4 trackdays, but decided to have an experiment with 5w50 redline after replacement bearings

Why does everyone change their oil so often? 😄

🤷🏻*♂️ But car is SC and I figure ~ 20 hrs of riding 7-8k rpm warrants $70...

I guess. Used to changing the oil once a year on my race cars. Super late model guys change oil once a season too. And they do 200 lap races pretty often.

Would be interested in the oil test results to see how much life is left in your oil

I generally get Blackstone analysis every couple changes and it's definitely had life remaining. I don't have a dedicated race car. It's my only one and it's $70. I probably spend <$250 on oil a year. I blow through that in gas without batting an eye.

Also use some Ceratec

Here's example

Nice. I co soldered getting this, but ended up just doing the plain tray. My phone doesn't need charging too often during the day. I just needed somewhere to keep my phone.

for me is better to change oil earlier, it's about near 2000 miles (including 4 track days - about 160 miles)
living in Ukraine it is not simple to to oil test... and I prefere to play it safe))

Just put on the bimmerworld resonated xpipe with hfc on and it's mated to the active autowerke exhaust. Sounds freakin awesome, unfortunately for some reason my dongle isn't being recognized so I can't flash to stage 2.
