I need your guys opinion. Should i run 40s? Or keep 35s? I have space to run 40s so 265/40 front and 285/40 18s right now they are 255/35/18 front and 275/35/18

I personally wouldn't do a 40 sidewall. That's going to be too tall and I don't think it'll look good. 255/35 or 265/35 fronts and 285/30 is my preference. That way front and back will have a similar height.

Thanks! I can't wait to see them too lol.
Still debating on 255/35 or 265/35 for the fronts though.

265/35/18, 285/35/18 is a very common size that most folks run with staggered sets.

Looking at the tire size calculator though 255/35 and 285/30 are closer in diameter than 265/35-285/30. Not sure how big of a deal that is though.

How are you comparing? 275/35 is the best for the front if you are attempting to compare to stock diamters. The rear 285/35 would be the best not 285/30. That said, a lot of folks want to keep the 20mm staggered difference like stock so 265/35, 285/35 is the best compromise.

Front Tire diameters:
245/40/18 = 25.7"
255/35/18 = 25" -2.7%
265/35/18 = 25.3" -1.6%
275/35/18 = 25.6" -0.4%

Rear Tire Diameters:
265/40/18 = 26.3"
275/35/18 = 25.6" -2.7%
285/35/18 = 25.9" -1.5%
285/30/18 = 24.7" -6%

I'm comparing the front to the rear. I'm not comparing it to factory sizing.

My mistake on the 19s sizing. 😂

Then never mind!

255/35/19 and 285/30/19 are GTS sizing

Nice man! I should get mine before spring starts. Sucks to have to wait but it's gonna be stored for the winter anyway.

Just placed an order for a second set. 18x10.5 +20 squared in diamond black can't wait. Still keeping my 18x10 +25 OG mercury silver set though.

5 weeks into E90 ownership and I've been fortunate enough to aquire a set of my favourite wheels.

Quite hard to come by down under
