How to find the exact build date of your E92?
I know my car is one of the last produced as it is a 6/2013 production date and my car didn't get delivered until 1 Aug 2013. My back seats are of the non M design as they ran out of those seats. However, I want to find out what was the exact date, as I feel it really could have been one of the last. I remember getting the last allocation that was given for S. Cali.

That's pretty weird/cool I never knew companies like BMW would run out of certain products for production. do you have the fold down cup holder armrest? I miss that from my 335.

I may be wrong but I believe there was somewhere in one of the BMW programming/coding tools where you could see when it received its first programming.. sorry I can't be of more help but I do seem to recall seeing an exact date of first programming at some point.

Can't you see at www.realoem.com, typing its chassis 7-digit code?

Mine is in the last sixteen E92 M3 ever built. It is also a June 2013 production.
It rocks to be the original factory owner. I know someone else who is even closer to the end. You are in the last 65 E2 M3 produced. I found your car because you gave the exact day. To know how many E92 M3 were produced after yours substract your last six digits from 973202 Last day of production was 06/27/2013 mine was delivered mid August 2013 because i did euro delivery We should start a restricted club, lol |

The "last" e9x M3 that rolled off the production line was a limerock. I believe I saw a picture of it somewhere.
Edit... here it is:

Mine has a build date of 11-10-2009 but mine is technically a 2010. Weird.

Second, there are dozens of VIN reader websites, each with their own date format (USA/european) what i said was correct for E92 but oscars has an E93, so yes his build turns out to be august 2013. |

for sure they're mushrooming, I can't find the decoder i used last time after six months, there are always new ones. It's prolly because they are baits to buying a vehicle title history.
